well as every sept.ill be headed out to vegas,but this year im not staying at my usual place.im staying at harrahs this year as they took good care of me due to my atlantic city trips.what im asking is (for my wife) as she is a slot player mostly is that does harrahs have a good % of paying on there slots or are they tight.i myself play blackjack and maybe some video poker but id like to be able to let her know weather to play serious at harrahs or go somewhere else as far as the slots paying out for her.any help would be appreciated so please don't hesitate to share any info you may have,.....thanks

most casinos have a few slots that are set on a little higher payoff odds than the others,if your playing serious not a bad idea to tip the employees to find out which machines to play-has worked for me in the past - sincerely chung... PS-WILL SET YOU BACK SOME SERIOUS BUCKS BUT THE KOBE BEEF AT THE CRAFT STEAK HOUSE IN THE MIRAGE IS THE BEST FOOD I HAVE EVER EATEN !!

stayed at harrahs couple times cuz rooms were free their slots seemed to hit good i dont play much but i put 80 in a 5dollar and hit 600 someone i was w. hit for 1200 on the dollars by the crap tables...last time i was in vegas and stayed at palms stopped in harrahs and their bookroom was under construction which is good cuz it was shitty so hopefully will be done or they have a phone booth for a bookroom while under renovation....

Generally speaking, the places off the strip have much better odds than the ones on.

I'm going back to harrahs Thanksgiving weekend and will definitely be playing the slots.My buddy was playing the Tripple Diamonds on $1 slots and hit for 4,000.00 2,000.00 and 1,200.00 all in about three hours.I know it was luck but those are the machines I'm heading to.They are just to the left of the sportsbook.They have a steakhouse called The Range upstairs that is cool.It has a great view of the strip.I think me and my wifes bill was about $120 but worth it.

How soon we forget ..... It was 2, 4 figure payouts within 5 minutes of each other

And I blew a lot of it at Pure!!!! Man, did we get lit up that night

seaofred....dont know if you are a drinker or not but Carnival Court at Harrahs is a good time ( always a good band on stage ) and O'Sheas "Dublin Up" bar 2 doors down next to the IMPERIAL PALACE right off the sidewalk has dollar drafts 18 hours a day...lots of regular blue collar folks in there (very friendly bar)...BEST OF LUCK AND HAVE A GOOD TIME.....we also did The Price Is Right gameshow at Ballys (it was pretty cool,did that with the wife )(and also saw Carrot Top at the Luxor....really funny show )

I don't remember the ride home, but I know I gave the head security guard $100 bill to make sure I get a taxi. I know we play some type of slot machine before we left. I think I left credits on it when my taxi arrived.
