The golf clubs of Justin Leonard, among others, didn't make it to Scotland after being lost by the airline.
Masters champion Zach Johnson couldn't practice Monday because he didn't have any clubs, and the same can be said for Pat Perez, Carl Pettersson and Lucas Glover, who got into the field when Shingo Katayama withdrew. The airline is reportedly not sure where Leonard's clubs are, and the folks at Nike may be as mad as he is. "We just made him a new set, too," Nike manager Kel Devlin said. If the clubs show up, we'll let you know. The lost practice will likely have some kind of impact on these players, even if they do arrive in plenty of time for Thursday's opening round.
