My buddies and I just booked a trip to S.D. in Sept for the Bears game. Anyone got info on places to go.....drink....girls???

San Diego is great. The Gas Lamp area is where you want to be. Bar after Bar after club after club. Stay in a downtown hotel, so you don't have to drive around. Than you can drive to the beach during the day, when you're "sober"

Gas Lamp is awesome! You can't go wrong there. Plenty of libations to be had and a plethera of options, from jazz to hard core clubbing. Spend the extra dollars and stay in the Gas Lamp, well worth it!

Take the time to go out to Balboa Park for a little cultural enlightenment ! And, treat yourself to some great libations at the Prado ....

The Gaslamp is a definite, but if you want to check out the hotties - you will need to hang out at PB (Pacific Beach). Lots of bars, restaurants, sushi joints, head shops, tattoo parlors, and everything in between. Head a little north from there and you have the beautiful areas of La Jolla and Del Mar. You want to have lunch on the rooftop at George's in La Jolla, and Del Mar has a kickass Mexican place called En Fuego. That whole area has some incredible stretches of coastline, and if you golf, then Torrey Pines is must. Other great golf courses include: Steele Canyon, Maderas, and Barona.

This guy knows what's up. Stay in the Gaslamp area, party there at night, but head to Pacific Beach during the day for more partying on the beach, it's like Venice Beach without the crackheads. Also check out La Jolla and Del Mar up the coast, nicer beaches, without the partying. Might wanna check out Corando Island as well. Let us know what kind of party animal you are so we can tell you which places to go to. Bar hoper? Hip hop dancer? Cigar and glass of wine? Live music hippie shit? Strippers?

Ok guys, through a connection we got rooms at the Westin in the Gas Lamp area for $89 a night!!!

We have a mix og guys from 30-35.....some single, some married, so some will want strip bars, and others will want to go and hit on girls. Not much of a group for "hard core clubbing" though. More drinking and flirting with the ladies kind of guys.

OK, I can't help you on the stripper angle. I'm a Vegas strip club or bust kinda guy, other places just don't cut it for me. Here's a few bars I like, The Bitter End, Yard House, The Field in downtown and one of my favorites is the Princess Pub in Little Italy. I've been out of the game for two years, so others might have some new places
