When the Steelers stole the superbowl from the sea chickens and pissed everyone off. Especially watching TMAC cry was pretty fun

I worked at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and was sequestered at the International Horse Park outside of Atlanta in Conyers. (Spear they don't want hear this shit!) An Aussie by the name of Lillian Rolton took her horse over the fense from high land to 5 feet under land filled with water (Town and Country Jump) No other riders would attempt it and it cost them time to go around. Rolton bravely decided to make the jump and as the horse made the jump and hit the water- Rolton flew off- breaking her collarbone and two ribs!
I had just seen her as my patient prior to the event for a swollen ankle-
                        Sports Illustrated snapped the picture!

She got back on the horse in pain and rode to a Glod medal! Most outstanding amount of courage I have ever seen.
Note: the American public was more interested in the gymnast who had a sore ankle making a perfect landing in the beam! I have pics together afterward with Gold Medal and IV's in her for fluid loss!
"The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice.

I KNOW THE ABOVE THREAD DOES NOT HAVE MUCH TO DO WITH SPORTS BUT ITS A TRUE STORY AND THIS IS A GOOD TOPIC // MY BEST SPORTS STORY WAS IN 1986-TENNESSE VOLS WERE PLAYING MIAMI IN THE SUGAR BOWL WITH VINNY TEST.QUATERBACKING,NOBODY GAVE US A CHANCE,I BELIEVE DICKEY THE ATHLETIC DIRECTORS SON WAS OUR q.b. IN THAT BOWL BECAUSE TONY ROBINSON HAD GOTTEN KICKED OFF THE TEAM FOR COCAINE,I BET FIFTEEN HUNDRED ON TENN. GOT DRUNKER THAN HELL AND IN A SEA OF ORANGE WHERE TENN FANS OUTNUMBERED MIAMI ABOUT 5 TO 1 WE SLAUGHTERED THE CAINES THAT DAY-FINAL WAS SOMETHING LIKE 35-7 // I BET A LOT LARGER AMOUNTS BACK THEN,OF COURSE I GOT MY ASS HANDED TO ME BETTING LARGE,BUT THAT WAS ONE OF THOSE DREAM DAYS AND I WIN 7 DIMES FOR THE DAY WENT 7-0 ON BOWL GAMES THAT DAY FOLLOWING A SCAMDICAPPER WHO GOT HOT CALLED THE PROFESSOR !!
