Hey buddy, I fished up in Lake St. Claire about 3 years ago and we crossed over Ambassador bridge in Detroit. Back then we didnt need a passport to get into Canada, I know now if you fly into Canada you need a passport but from what my post office tells me if you drive into Canada you dont.
Do you know if that is true??
I am planning on heading up that way in a few weeks with a few buddy's, they have passports and i sure as hell dont want to hit the ambassador bridge and get turned away.
If you dont know, dont worry
thanks

You Definately Do Not Need A Passport.....just Pieces Of Id.....at Least One With Photo.....birth Certificate Aswell I Think....but 100% Not A Passport....just For Flying....i Think In 2008 It Will Be Needed For Driving....but Definately Not Yet....

Thanks Chad, i was in St claire about 3 years back and all i needed was birth certificate. Buddy got me worried about a passport.
St Claire was great, caught an ass load of smallmouths. 3-4 lbs. Damn they fight hard. That part of Canada is flat, no hills at all. Pretty, but flat
