  • I'm getting serious about Sirius. Any help out there?

I'm getting serious about Sirius. I was looking into getting the Stilletto model. Here's what I need to know.

    1. The guy at Best Buy told me that I could get the conversion unit built into my car and get excellent reception and then obviously listen to it on my car speakers. Or I could just drive with the Stilletto model and listen to it through the earphones. My question is, will the reception be good while I drive without the built in unit? My wife drives a car to work everyday that sometimes doesn't get the FM radio to work. So until I get a new stereo put in the car, could she drive with the Stilletto and just listen to it through the earphones, like the sales guy said?

    2. I was also told that I could dock the unit into another Sirius Radio at home, and as long as it was near a window, would get excellent reception at home. Is this true?

    3. It says on the brochure, and on the website, that I can record up to so many hours of music and talk programming on my Stilletto for playback later. What about sporting events? Howard Stern? Can I do that also?

Thanks as always for the help guys.
Please don't question my record or I will leave!!!!

The headphone thing does nothing for me, especially when driving. I wouldn't do that.

Have that hard wired right in the car for the best reception buddy! You won't be sorry!
