Los Angeles, CA (CSTV U-WIRE) — The No. 2 and No. 10 NFL draft picks, Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart, along with USC receiver Dwayne Jarrett are currently under investigation for purported NCAA rules violations. Leinart and Jarrett, former roommates, are under scrutiny for their living situation last year.

Living in an upscale, downtown Los Angeles apartment building, the duo each reportedly paid $650 per month for an apartment that cost $3,866 per month. The remaining balance was paid each month by Bob Lienart, Matt's father, who said he has been told Jarrett might have to repay upward of $10,000 for reimbursement for the cost.

And MM, just b/c you don't like the NCAA rules about student athletes and pay doesn't mean Bush was right for violating the rules.

DID THEY USE THE TOILET WHILE THEY LIVED THERE? THEY MIGHT HAVE TO REIMBURSE THE SHITTER PAPER THEY USED TOO.

WISH I WOULDVE BEEN GOOD ENOUGH TO GET THE TREATMENT LIKE THAT. ALL WE GOT WERE COLD TURKEY SANDWICHES AND FRUIT AFTER THE GAME.

I highly doubt Bush was clueless his parents were staying in a free house. He might say that to investigators, but I think highly unlikely. And you are right, a shitload of people are making money off of the athletes, but to pay them more then a stipend opens up a hell of a lot of problems that could be worse then it is now.

agreed but there has to be a way to take all of this out of the game. These guys cant wipe their ass without someone handing them a piece of paper "saying sign here".
