And they were just blatant homer calls. As Stoops said, the refs "chose" not to correct their mistake. I might be able to understand it a little better from the refs' perspective if there were evidence that they had been paid off to help Oregon cover the spread. I'd still be pissed and it would still be very wrong...but it would be understandable. the mistakes didn't result in Oregon covering either the game or the 2d half spread. So, those refs were just dumbass fucking homers, pure and simple.

The death threats were indeed unwarranted. But I agree with kb...fire em!

ESPN is running a poll of whether the BCS should discount this loss for Oklahoma and 41% say 'Yes'...could you imagine if they ever did such a thing, the can of worms they would be opening!

the sooners were'nt going anywhere anyway...........

they'd be 3-0 right now, higher on the polls, and possibility of a much higher paying Bowl----that was a traversty of justice, when they failed to override the field calls.........

there were 4 major mistakes this weekend on replays, resulting in determining the winner..........who can say, how far they, LSU and Oklahoma were gonna go.........

LSU would also be 3-0, and highly ranked, but they are 2-1 and still in the top 10.......lost a lots of $ here for something that should not have happened..........

Kids play their hearts out, coaches work their asses off, and some body in a replay booth, can't make the right call....maybe they need to have more than 1 up there, and have permission to use the TV replays (about 8 different angles) rather than rely on their $200.00 8 MM camera with just a ground (obstructed) view.....

too much at stake to have this keep happening----kapt
