has nothing to do with how good the royals are....tix are the same for all teams....and it is the toughest ticket in baseball to get....they would be insane as business men to lower their prices.....Fenway is already the most expensive park in the league....Also remember there are not that many seats 36+K and they have that large payroll and not the huge tv contract that george has......need to make money somehow.....It is what the market will bear........

Would someone really pay 26K for one ticket to see a game against KC? It must be a misprint, no?
If I were a multi millionaire, I wouldn't pay it or anything even close to that.

Even the one above it for 2K plus is kind of pricey.
Maybe for the 26K anyone who buys it gets say a month's worth of "favors" from Boston's finest ladies.

The more I look at the ad in stubhib, the more I think the 26000 is for 12 tickets and not just 1, as the section is referred to as "pay club 12".
That would refer the price of each ticket to around $2K apiece, still pricey but more believeable.
Hope Sox come through on day you go.

The way that the Royals are playing of late, perhaps those ticket prices will go to 30K for one.
