  • Did anyone see this game is the Pacific Coast Leauge?

N.o. & Nashville played a 24 inning game over 2 days. It lasted 8 hours total. N.O. scored a run in the top of the 9th to tie the game at 4. They went to extra innings and at 1:25 a.m. suspended the game tied at 4 in the 18th. Nobody had scored a run in 9 innings since the 9th. They picked up the game the next day and continued on for another hour and a half tied at 4. Finally in the top of the 24th inning N.O. scored and Won 5-4.

They went 14 straight innings without scoring a run. The box score is below and it's pretty funny. Some guys killed their average going 1-10 or 2-11 but another guy had 6 hits in 10 at bats. 17 pitchers were used.

The Pacific Coast League has been a AAA league for over 90 years, so tying a record in that league is a big deal.
