Sometimes I wonder in these international games, if the USA gets the shortend because of the world's perception that we are a country that is too powerful, too evil and just hated in general....I've seen the USA slighted in so many international games. Just look at the way the basketball team has been screwed over the years. Lance Armstrong gets completely harassed, etc....

i have never seen so much flopping and acting in any sport in my life....Some of those Italian guys (and i am italian) looked like they had been shot....and would never return...only to return to full form in under a minute.....I would rather jerk off with sandpaper than watch soccer......Fuck those fuzzy foreigners!!!

Thats why Americans cant get into soccer. The refs play such a HUGE part of the game and here in States we need shit like replay and challenges.

If soccer was USA's game there would be 3 or 4 refs running on the field, 2 on each side to see this bullshit. Anyone w/ a better angle sees that isnt a foul.

Cant wait to see Ghana get blown up by Brazil, though this is the bigest thing in their country since their independence in 1952

My friend who is a sportswriter said that flopping in soccer is an aesthetic part of that sport.....

I told him the shit stained satin shorts at the end of the day of the tour de france riders are an aesthetic part of that sport and that doesn't enamor me to it or marathon runners with saliva vomit dribbling down their chin......

Feigning an injury to get an unfair advantage on your opponent is a pathetic part of sports. And it's openly evident in soccer. They need to do something about it, like card 'em for that shit, which the foreign announcers have talked about. The USA team decided to not flop around like tuna waiting to be clubbed over the head on a barnacle barge, like some of these other teams have done. Watch the replay of the elbow O'brian took in the Italy match. He got up and walked off. End of story.

Maybe Nike can hop on the bandwagon and peddle a new line of burlap sports apparel in Ghana.....
