A terrible day on Wednesday, my worst of the World Cup, saw me go 0-3-1 and drop 4.90 units. I need to bounce back Thursday.

Game 41: Italy -0.5 (+107) vs. Czech Republic 1*
This is the result the USA needs in order to advance to the 2nd round and I think they will get it. Italy is not guaranteed a spot in the 2nd round themselves, and they will come out with passion against the Czechs
Game 42: USA +0.5 (-126) vs. Ghana 3***
Four years of waiting to prove that their performance in the last World Cup was not a fluke comes down to this. A win by the USA over Ghana and a win by Italy over the Czechs puts our boys into the 2nd round, likely against Brazil. I expect to see the USA side that showed up against Italy in this one. They will give Ghana all they can handle and more.
Game 43: Croatia PK (-145) vs. Australia 1*
This game will decide who goes to the 2nd round with Brazil and I expect a more experienced Croatian side to make it through.
Game 44: Brazil -1.5 (+103) vs. Japan 1*
Brazil is my pick to win it all and my pick as the best team in the world, hands down. They have the potential for a huge offensive explosion against a Japanese defense that allowed 3 goals in 10 minutes to Australia. It is all worth noting that the Brazilians have not yet allowed a goal.
I took these bets in the early afternoon so the lines you see now may be better or worse.
