As a Knick fan, I hate Riley for the way he left NY and also for the way he screwed Van Gundy this year. While it was hard to root for Dallas, it is so easy to root against Riley and Mourning. And I actually find Shaq and Wade refreshing and easy to root for....

As a Sports Fan in general, it doesn't make a difference who wins but it's always nice if you win your bet.
But the bottom line is the better team won on this given day and there's nothing that can change that.

Players in today's sport don't get mad if they don't win the Big Dance. It's always nice if they do, but they are more concerned on how much MONEY they will make during the year and on endorsements..

It's all ABOUT THE $$$$$$$$$ these days...20-30 years ago, players were more dedicated and cared a lot more.

thing to remember is that Ainge was more than happy to get rid of Walker and Payton. They were not wanted in Boston, and Ainge was estatic to have them somewhere else.

--I don't agree with this as a Celtic fan. As 'controversial' as Walker always seemed to be in Boston, the team was MUCH better with than without him. Look at last year. They got him and the team went on a tear and won the division and made game 7 of round one. Essentially the same young team this year but with more experience, and with no Walker regressed to 7th pick in lottery.
