and to think he started the season penciled in as a 5th starter and "head case" foulke was going to be our closer....If that were the case....we would be about 6 games under .500....Foulke always uses the fake injury when he gets shelled....Not mentally tough....a wierd bird

I think they knew Papelbon was the closer from game 1 when he came in and got the save against Texas. He should stay there for the next 10 years!
