yankees dont go to the playoffs...seriously!! A kid comes in named David Pauley, that my high school baseball team honestly beat, honestly 4-3 he played at longmont high in CO, for the Red Sox and they get totally fooled by him in a rivalry?!?! The Yankees of old would have welcomed Pauley rudely to the Majors but the guys they have today are not that great and have no chemistry!! A-Rod should be the first to go!!

The Red Sox pitching staff isn't special either.

Schilling has been good, but not "ace" material.
Beckett has been dreadful - he should have lost again today, but the Braves can't hit with RISP.
Wakefield has been pretty good despite what his record shows.
Clement is a disaster.
Dinardo was terrible, Wells is done, and whoever else they may throw in is no better than the Yankees 5th starter.

I think you better look north of the border for the 2006 AL East champion.
