As I argued yesterday, the best value in baseball is playing bad, but hot, teams. The lines NEVER ever catch up. Florida has now won six in a row and 16 of its last 22, is at home and is still a big dog. Cheeesh. The pitching matchup isn't as bad as it seems as four of Moehler's last five starts were fine (his five-game ERA is inflated by a single bad outing).

    1* A's +113
If Florida being a dog with six in a row makes no sense, how about Oakland? They've won NINE in a row. This is great value as Lowe's last two starts were not as dominant as his last few prior to that. Saarloos' last two starts were fine. Getting this price on the hottest team in baseball is a very nice deal.
