Rice (+300) to win CWS in 2006.

There is no doubt they have the best offense in the CWS, but they also have one of the best starting pitching staffs led by the nation's top pitcher in Eddie Degerman. He pitches much like Hideo Nomo which gives him an 11:1 strikeout to walk ratio because most hitters end up swinging at pitches in the dirt. They also have the best relief pitcher in the CWS with Cole St. Clair.
The 1927 Yankees weren't the best team ever. What everyone fails to realize is that the year before, with the exact same team, they lost to the Cardinals in the World Series.

      GL SD!

But if that kid keeps pitching like Nomo he won't be in the league.

Griffey his delivery is very awkward and seriously cannot be explained. The closest thing I can compare it too is Hideo Nomo's but it isn't exactly like that. You should tune in tomorrow afternoon and see it yourself. It will be something you've never seen before I can guarantee you that. His delivery is so fucked up no one can hit him which is why right now he is one of the three NCAAB finalists for the Roger Clemens award.
