  • U.S. Open plays

    Round 1:

    Mickelson under 71. (21/20) (x3)
I think he shoots level par (70)

    Woods over 71 (20/29) (x5)
Too long of a competitive layoff.

      To win

      Mickelson 11/2 (x3)
      Adam Scott 25/1 (x2)
      Davis Love III 40/1 (x2)
      Stuart Appleby 50/1 (x1)

No Vijay Singh, because he gets erratic with the driver and never takes a chance (like Mickelson) for a great recovery. I think that will cost him 3-5 shots alone by week's end, then the putting.

                    T!

I golfed Cypress Ridge yesterday with Robin and Rick Ventura...
They both said that just because Tiger hasn't played in Tourneys doesn't mean he isn't playing.....Robin played 2 weekends with Tiger and said he is focused and ready...He has worked on his golf game late into the night since his Dad died and really wants to win this for him.....What's a few more $$$ lost if he doesn't win....

As with any sport, practice does not make perfect; competiitve practice makes perfect. I believe those that were playing competitively, especially last week, have the edge.

Just got in from work, Mickelson 70, Wooods getting his tits ripped (+5 through 12).
