Anybody Else Believe In Gut Feelings?

When i have a gut feeling for a game more times than not it is a better indicator than my capping.....Same goes for the other way......I have played games that all the numbers pointed to, but deep in my gut i knew they would lose.....

I also believe in self-fulfilling prophecies......I always lose on Friday nights in hoops season and Sundays in baseball season......I would say i hit about 25% each day and this is over a large sample......On Mondays and Thursdays i am usually money....and hold my own on the other days.....

I was just wondering if anybody else has this sense......

Also comes to haunt me when alot of us are on the same play......I feel less confident then......

I get gut feelings all the time....i always get them during games, i always have a feeling about whats gonna happen next and alot of times my gut is right...it is really weird.

I also try to never flip past the BET channel on sundays because they always have church stuff on and i think it jinxes me. I know it sounds stupid but i am weird i guess.

Tony you bring up two different points in this post.
First gut feelings. I do beleive in gut feelings. Only if you follow a sport fanatically and have more info than you can always process. Pro bettor Alan Boston refers to this as his internal data base.
The second point about losing on friday in basketball and sundays in baseball is probably because you are taking the favorites on those days. Next NBA season just play home dogs on a friday night the uglier the better and see how that treats you. As for weekend baseball don't overpay on the chalk because they always jack up the chalk on the weekends. Just my opinions I don't have any stats to back it up. GL

Bret Mussberger is pure poison and I go out of my way to avoid his games.

Once I had a big bet on a game and as soon as I found out Mussberger was doing it I bought back the other side.

I sure was glad I did.

The 3 Stooges on Sunday Night ESPN Football are no bargain either and if I have something on their game I deliberately will not watch it.
