While it should come as no shock that someone who claims to know nothing about a sport finished Sunday's play 0-3... it was interesting to see how just one or two plays here or there kept us from having a monster day. I guess that's to be expected in a sport with so little scoring.
Lets get on to Monday's nonsense.
Game #1 - Australia vs Japan
The storyline of this game is that Japanese officials have accused the Aussies of dirty play as of late. Aussie officials couldn't be reached for comment as they were spending the night in German prison after a being arrested for stabbing patrons in the back at a Kaiserslautern Brew Haus.

Game #2 - U.S. vs Czech Republic
The Czechs plan to feature their 6'6" striker Borussia Dortmund and their new "Long Ball" offense. Well Greg Maddux and Tom Glavine taught me that chicks dig the long ball... but the Women's World Cup doesn't start for another 2 years, and I've seen some brutal looking Czech women in my days.

The Italian team has faced the scrutiny of a match fixing scandal back home. Now I'm not one to judge, but if you mention extortion and match fixing again, I'll have your legs broken.
