San Francisco -7 (x10) GOD (Game of the Day)

Pirates can't hit lefties, especially on the road, (at least not yet).

It makes no sense, the Pirates Batting Average is awesome against Lefties, but they cannot beat one.

you know, it's funny how they say things that they want in order to fit into the play. Fact is, on the year, the Pirates bat a very respectable .278 against lefty pitchers, and they have the second most runs scored against lefties in the NL, with 94.

5 wins total, 1 on the road against lefties.
They also suck in day games. Snell has an E.R.A. of near 19 in day games (0-2).

Great, albeit lucky, defensive play on a linedrive comebacker in the 7th with no out took the Giants out of a great chance. It seemed that all their decent scoring chances were followed by a double play. They never had a chance, especially with the age and lack of clout in the lineup. Oh well, it was my first x10 loser this season, and I hope my last.
