5 STAR: LA LAKERS (+1.5) OVER Dallas
In their last two games, the Lakers struggled to put away Memphis and then laid an egg at Utah. But I look for them to bring their "A" game tonight against their hated rivals, the Mavericks. Los Angeles is 3-1 as a home underdog the last three seasons and they are 7-4 against the spread when revenging a loss where they scored less than 85 points. The Lakers are also 12-0 straight up against Dallas at home since 1996.
