Had another good day yesterday with the posted picks...went 5-1, with two of those picks being dogs (the Reds were a nice one). A $100 player would have won $480 yesterday.
Should have been 6-0...Josh Johnson pitched well but an error cost two runs, and the Marlins had men on second and third, nobody out, and heart of the lineup coming up, and they proceeded to go down on strikes. But that's baseball for ya!! haha. So far, I'm 8-2 with my posts.
FYI I'm not neccessarily playing all my picks which I post...I put up 4 a day (yesterday looked especially good, so I posted 6) but I don't like to play that many. I just put SUGGESTIONS up there, and pick and choose as the day goes on.
Don't particularly like tomorrow's plays, but here goes...
Red Sox -128. Schilling on the mound trying to avoid losing 3 in a row...with Jarret Wright up for the Yanks. I know I'm a Yankee fan, and I'm NOT going to play this one (I know it's not a good thing, but I never bet against my team), but I think the Sox look like they should be able to pull this one out.
Tigers +138. Verlander got lit up his last outing against the Yankees, but he had a blister on his finger. Check the injury reports and see if that blister is still there (I watched that game and it looked like his control wasn't there). As of now, I don't see anything which points toward a Verlander injury, so I think he's good to go. Contreras up for the Sox is scary, but I think the rookie pitches well and Detroit pulls this one out.
Rockies -115. I think Colorado finally broke out of their funk and should pull this one off today. Yesterday's come from behind win was big for team confidence, and the Rockies can't afford to drop any more if they want to stay in contention in the tough NL West.
Padres -110. Don't think the Padres will drop three straight to the Brewers, especially with a rookie on the mound for Milwaukee.
GL all!
