Barry Bonds has now become the worst player in MLB … a real embarrassment to his uniform … Hobbled by a body which has now betrayed him from years of abuse … And Lazy as Sin as well … let's face it … any ball not hit directly at him is a triple. The Giants are in a real tough spot … they are forced to put up with him and play him … you know - with the Farewell Tour thing and His So Called " Record "

The Yankees / Red Sox are now about to play their 4th series this season . Why so many so early on ? This is an error on the part of The League's Schedule Maker. Their season series should be staggered throughout the year.

The Dodger game yesterday was frustrating as hell … so many opportunities to put the Phillies away were squandered. Then , out of the blue with the score tied 3-3 in the top of the eighth , Joe Mother Fucking Beimel pops up. I immediately turned off my television and went for a swim. At that time I just knew the game was over. It was.

    The Plays For Today:

I agree. It seems these two teams play every other week. It's a joke.

One minor correctino. The ENTIRE league is in a tough spot. The majority of baseball fans careless about Bonds and his pursuit of the "record".

I agree with Dimer. What a blackeye for baseball if this bum breaks the home run record.

Good luck guys - though I don't agree that Cincy is a linesmaker special - I do think they're the right play. Cincy has just been the better team lately, and the Pujol-less Cards nearly were swept by the impotent Cubs.

The good news is he isn't going to break it. The season is one-third over and he is on pace for only about 21 homers this year. If he continues at this clip he won't catch Aaron until mid-2008. Besides, he'll be another year older next year and will likely slow down more.

The bad news is Pujols' injury will likely cost him his chance to break Bonds' single season HR record.
