Here's what I think for tomorrow's baseball...kind of like tomorrow's games because last week turned brutal near the end. I think it's time for the good teams to start winning again -- like favorites (especially against teams which have been overachieving as of late)
Arizona/Philly Under 8.5 -- Can anyone score against the best sinker pitcher in baseball? After last week's 0-0 dual with Pedro (against one of the most potent offenses in the NL), I think this may be a solid pick...unless the Diamondbacks go off offensively.
Rockies -144. Pirates shot their load in that sweep against the Brewers, Colorado gets back on track and avoids losing their 7th in a row (especially after getting swept at home by the Marlins)
Giants -159. See above
And last but not least...
Red Sox/Yankees over 9.5 -- Sox and Yanks usually have a ton of offense in the first game of the series -- Beckett vs. Mussina is a little scary, but I think both teams come out swinging and put some offense on the board. Yanks are a little lacking, but the young players have been hitting. Plus...Farnsworth has been good for at least 2 runs a game, if he gets there in the 9th! haha
