Went 1-2 yesterday on posted plays, Cards losing killed my parley that I thought was almost a sure bet. Here are my bets for today:
Cubs/Cards under 8.5 (-105) - Maddux is 25-18 with a 2.63 era lifetime vs Cards. He is 2-0 with a .68 era vs the Cards this year. Marquis is 1-4 with a 3.66 era lifetime vs the Cubs. With Pujols out, I expect Maddux to have success today.
Nationals (-108) - Armas is 2-0 with a 2.08 era lifetime vs the Brewers. De La Rosa got rocked in his only start this year going 3 innings, giving up 6 earned runs. Nationals have won 3 straight and have won 10 of last 14. Brewers have lost 7 in a row and Brewers pitchers during losing streak has an 8.13 era.
