I wouldn't go as far as saying that.... Ala Contreras, Vasquez, Brown...

But, i have always been a believer in farm system.. Look how the yanks won there championships... Most of everyone was a farm kid who all gelled together at the same time. We did have big name guys on teams that won during the yankees success.. I mean, we didn't have Giambi's, Arods, and the Sheffs.

I really hope they start that Rasner kid.... The game he pitched for a few innings looked great and he is a typical starter... who knows

i'm sick and tired of living and dying by the long ball... I love the small ball approach like the white sox play... I love watching them cause they play the game as it should be played.. I wish the yanks would go back to that kind of style.

when they won those championships they had alot of guys from outside the system as well...they hardly promoted from within......96 was cone, gooden, key, nelson, rogers, leyritz, boggs, tino, strawberry, fielder...

they continued to add...wells, knaubloch, chili davis, clemens, grimsley, irabu, stanton, brosious, lilly, neagle, justice, polonia, canseco, glenallen hill......

i know there are more..but those are the ones i recall
