A better night Friday, going 2-1 with a push on Boston for a gain of 7.85 units. I think I was alone on the Cubs and in spite of Dusty leaving his pitcher in to hit with men on first and third and then pulling him after one batter reaches base the next inning, the Cubs won the game.
I played Boston -1 run to keep the line down like I always do. They won by just one run, but I can't remember when I have been as happy to push a bet, as with Boston tonight. They were dead and would have lost had Zumaya still been pitching. Another stupid manager pitching change, but this time we were the lucky ones. Detroit replaced Zumaya, who had a lights out 8th, with their so called closer, Todd Jones and his over 5 ERA. He made up for what Farnsworth did to us last night. Detroit has now lost 5 of 6 and they will lose again Saturday. Boston is a 10 unit play again. These are all my plays for Saturday.
