Mets-Giants rained out hour and a half before scheduled to begin
NEW YORK -- The game between the San Francisco Giants and New York Mets scheduled for Friday night was postponed because of rain. It will be made up Saturday as part of a doubleheader starting at 1:25 p.m.
Heavy rain moved through the area Friday afternoon and with more bad weather in the forecast, the game was called about 1½ hours before it was supposed to start.
