I'm playing the
Buffalo Sabres +152
You may or may not know that I'm a Sabres fan. I consider this play completely objective, and I don't understand why this line is what it is. Anyone who watched the last two games (one in Carolina) will attest that Buffalo was the better team, and it was very unfortunate of the Sabres to lose Game 5. Going into Game 6, I thought that would be Carolina's best chance to win the series. Now they have let Buffalo back in the series, and I think they are in for a real battle in Game 7.
Buffalo is the best road team in the NHL, and they have the goaltending advantage. They have been shorthanded defensively, but they are good enough to win this game a lot more than 40% of the time.
Projected MLB scores (value plays in bold):
Brewers 5.17, Pirates 5.56 - maybe some value with the Pirates, but they are 2-14 in day games, so...
Dodgers 5.42, Braves 4.55
Phillies 3.78, Dodgers 5.16
White Sox 5.57, Indians 3.35
Devil Rays 4.82, Orioles 3.82 - D Rays have solid value, but there's this: they are 8-3 in Kazmir's starts, and all three losses were on the road against the AL East

Value plays did pretty well Wednesday, especially if Minnesota holds on to their lead. If they continue doing well, I may start playing them for about 1/10th of a unit per game until I start playing games for the normal amount again.
