Miami has demonstrated it is the better team in this series by winning several games consistently and played the Pistons fairly tough in Detroit for 3 1/2 quarters Wednesday. They are likely to close out the series Friday and their aging veterans will play with abandon. They have the best player on the court right now (Wade). I believe this line will get up to 4 or even 4 1/2 by Friday night.

Thursday nite: I am leaning to Dallas but am likely to make a play only if the line drops a bit.

I'd obviously like the line to be lower but I'll take this. Phoenix is going only two deep on its bench and Raja Bell, the apparent key to the team (!) is banged up. Dallas has much more depth and while the Mavericks have failed to deliver several times at home in the playoffs, they are likely to come through with a huge performance against a Phoenix team whose tank may be empty.
