Astros are pretty damn impotent, molta. I don't understand it. They started out playing like the National League Champions that they are. Now they look like dog shit.

Well, they play awesome at home, and their hot start looked great but they had a TON of home games to start the year. They simply cannont win or score on the road. And they are incapable of manufacturing a run, and when u are as bad as they are offensively, you have to. Bullpen has stunk as well, and Garner really blew it yesterday. They better get their act together quick, or the Rocket aint coming back and they'll be out of it. This isn't like last year when they were the only other good team in the Central, and had no real competition for the Wild card.

Rose Creek is a really nice links course. It's young and immature, too. So, I'm sure it will only get better in the next few years. Playing surfaces are all really nice. It's one of those courses where local knowledge is important too. And none of us had ever played it. we were playing 2 on 3 wolf. I had the box on one of the par 4s on the back 9 (can't remember which one).My youngest son hit a missile 300+ yards straight down the middle of the fairway. Obviously I picked him for my wolf partner. When we went over the ridge in the fairway, there was water that jutted out in front of the green. So his great drive was wet! we had a great time though. How was your weekend?

Relaxing for the most part. I had a bunch of family in town from Dallas, so we hung out, worked outside, drank some beer, watched racing (by myself ) all day Sunday. Didn't do a whole lot. I'm leaving for Vegas Thursday and was trying to save up some extra $$$ for gambling

I'm not a big racing fan. But that Andretti kid is only 19? I read that he made more money on that race than either his father or grandfather had ever made in a race.

I was cheering like hell for him to win. They had a restart with about 7 laps to go and he restarted in 2nd place. He passed his dad for the lead (his dad has raced the Indy 500 16 times and never won) but dang Hornish Jr. passed him at the finish line for the 2nd closest finish in Indy 500 history! He did a heck of a job though, and I think we may see Marco win many races in his career.
