I'm not going to stay up all night waiting for this damn Astros game to end - it's going to the 14th inning right now. It's still pending, and I'll update the record tomorrow.
Sunday Baseball Play of the Day (26-23, +6.84)
Tampa Bay Devil Rays +205 (Hendrickson/Wakefield)
Coming back with the D'Rays two days after they let me down. The numbers don't lie - Boston is only a .500 team against LHSP, and they shouldn't be this much of a favorite here, especially with Wakefield pitching. Wake is the kind of pitcher who can be hit hard when he doesn't have his knuckle working well. That's been the case often this year, as his ERA is 4.57, and his record is 3-6.
Hendrickson has been pitching well, and his ERA is 3.50. Amazingly, his road ERA is 1.00 in four starts. I just can't pass this number up.
Good luck to everyone!
