  • Need Help With a Betting Situation

Hey guys, I need some help/ideas from the forum.

I took the Mets in the series vs. Florida at -280/100 (need to win 2of 3). This bet was really based on them winning tonite with Pedro going. Since they lost, I'm in a predicament of sorts.

I'd like to hedge/bail out of this bet a little bit if I can, but not sure how.

Do I take Florida today at +135?

Or do I just pray the Mets win today, and then hedge out a little bit in game 3. I don't mind losing some money on this bet, just would like to avoid losing the whole thing.

(And no, laying that juice on anything probably wasnt the smartest thing. Live and learn)

Bet the fish sat & sun..........the worst u can do is lose the 280 on the mets and youll prolly make a small amt back if the fish split..........if the fish win both u might break even and if the mets win both u lose 200 instead of 280

Or U sit tight with the original bet and risk 280 to win 100

If it was me id bet the fish sat and sunday for the same amt each time as u played the mets series play

Or do what Im gonna do and BANG THE STONES

      PEACE

If he bets the Marlins the last 2 games and their dogs plus lose both games that's -$200 if he risks $100. So then the Mets win the series which nets him $100 now take that from the -$200 so he would only lose $100 right?

On the other hand he can ride it out like it is and if the Mets don't win the series he loses -$280

I think the Mets win today with Glavine

I wouldn't do anything today since Glavine is one of the best pitchers this year. However, if the Mets win Saturday and you are worried about losing the series bet, take the Marlins on Sunday. I am assuming they will be a dog and the Mets have Orlando Hernandez pitching Sunday and he isn't that good.

You have to hedge your bet today. If the Marlins win today the Mets lose the series and you lose your series bet. Sunday's game would be meaningless.

I'd risk $50 on Florida today. If the Mets win. I'd risk another $50 tomorrow.

Thanks guys. I'm probably gonna sit tight and hope the mets win today with glavine (some good cappers on him today too). If I do hedge/bail out with the marlins today it will be for $50.

MCP: I am definately pounding the Pistons today. Thanks
