my best play for today is the over on st.louis & san diego. 8 runs doesn't seem like enough. suppan is 3-1 lifetime with an era of 5.19 vs. padres. last 3 seasons 4 of 7 games have gone over the total in san diego, & 10 of 15 have gone over in st. louis & san diego. suppan has an era of 6.75 on the road this year & hensley 5.71 era at home. last 3 starts both pitchers era's are over 4.50. both cards & padres average 5.2 runs vs. righties. cards 37 of 49 home runs vs. righties & padres 30 of 36 home runs vs. righties. cards bullpen has a road era of 4.10 & padres bullpen is 3.72 at home. last 12 games vs all opponents card 8 overs, padres 7 overs with 1 push. this game should be over 10 easily.
