Has Giambi found the energy to play tonight? Did he get good enough sleep not to ask out of the lineup like he did last night?

The point was we won last night.. I dont give a damn if Babe Ruth played we got the W and that was all that matters..

It makes NO SENSE to sit 2 left handed bats against Clement and a team that you wouldn't mind gaining a game in the standings on ... Unless they are hurt!

You are right...it is all about the W. And it is even better for you as you would have had another built in excuse if you had lost, just like if they lose tonight, it will be the Single A Yankees, or the NY Royals, or some other lame ass excuse as it always is everytime the Yankees lose. The other team is never better, not even for one night.

Posada's back is better but he has a problem with his knee now. Perhaps his gay lover bit his cock too hard. Damon's got a bad foot and shoulder. They are both gamers so I am sure they are hurt.

But they just played yesterday and they have Thursday off. They also could rest them both for 2 straight days and give them Friday off at home against K.C. but it makes no sense to rest them tonight and play them friday if they were capable of playing last night!!!

                    Damon even hit a HR

Wayne, I don't think it is rest. I heard on the radio today this morning that Posada's knee was bad (bad in that he may miss a game or two). Damon wanted no part of coming out of the lineup because of his injuries, especially in Boston. This could be a classic Torre move of downplaying the big rival games for the sake of the season...I know Damon is pretty beat up and after watching him day-in-day out last year battling through injuries, he must really be banged up.

Not a surprise that the Yanks are beat up as these guys are grey in the tooth. As you know, Damon was a shadow of his former self last Aug/Sept/Oct....

They're both hurt. They've been talking about it on local talk radio all day.

I know they are banged up but Damon went Deep last night and didn't injure anything else to my knowledge. Why not give them the next 2 days off instead. Can it be "THAT" bad??
