Thanks, guys. kb, didn't you say you play at Rose Creek? have you played there lately? My brother's coming down for some golf. We're playing at Rose Creek on Friday...at Jimmie Austin in Norman tomorrow. I haven't played either of those courses.Comment

I haven't been out to Rose in about 6 months. I drive by it just about everyday on my way to work though, and it looks to be in pretty good condition. I have friend who's an assistant golf pro up at Jimmie Austin. I've never played there, but I hear its an awesome course and pretty tough. Rose Creek is a links style course and if you don't keep it in the fairway, you can lose a lot of balls (like me
). The greens are also fast there. It's a nice facility though, when you pull up in the parking lot, a cart guy comes to your car and picks up your clubs from you and gets you set up with a cart, so after you pay, you're ready to roll. Have fun and have 2 good rounds man

Yeah, Jimmie Austin is a long-ass track, about 7200 yds from the tips and plenty of trouble to be had from what I hear and read... I'll prolly play the old man tees.
