I Have A Lot Of Respect For The True Cub Fans Who Have Stayed True To This Team.but Its Way Past Time For You Guys To Stop Going To Games And Supporting The Tribune Corporation.they Have Proven They Will Not Make The Committment To Go Out And Spend The Money And Get The Players Needed To Make A Real Push. Perfect Example Derek Lee Gets Hurt And TheN Hendry And The Tribune Company Did Nothing To Go Out To Make Adjustments. As Long As 35000-40000 People Show Up At Wrigley The Tribune Company Will Continue To Laugh At You And Stick The Middle Finger Up In Your Face.

How Many 25- 30 Percent?? What About The Other 25000?
Originally posted by BigTicketwhat you don't realize is that to MANY MANY people going to a game at wrigley has NOTHING to do with winning and losing.
Broaden your perspective
TAKE YOUR OWN ADVICE. HOW MANY OF THOSE PEOPLE ARE TRUE CUB FANS?(PRBABLY 50-65 PERCENT) IF YOUR DOWN FOR YOUR TEAM YOU DONT KEEP REWARDING FAILURE TO AN ORGANIZATION WHO DOESNT CARE ABOUT WINNING MORE THAN GATE RECEIPTS. IF YOU LOSE 15000-20000 FANS A GAME WHO WOULD LIKE TO SEE A WINNER ON THE NORTH SIDE YOU FORCE THE ORGANIZATION TO MAKE CHANGES. I PERSONALLY KNOW 25 CO WORKERS WHO WILL NOT GO TO GAMES NOW BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF PERFORMANCE OF LEADERSHIP. YOUR STILL TRYING TO SELL A PRODUCT AND IF THE PRODUCT IS INFERIOR IT WILL LOSE SOME BUYERS. CHANGE THE CULTURE YOU FORCE MANAGEMENT TO CHANGE.

Wrong Wrong Wrong
If your a TRUE fan you don't boycott. Boycotting does nothing to help...and in effect you as a fan aren't "helping" any team let alone make a difference. The sooner people realize that the better.
Just because the Sox fans don't show up to the games this year after winning the world series nor showed up last year UNTIL the playoffs (except when the north siders came to town) doesn't mean that it's a successful organization.
Your so very biased against the cubs that its humorous to read your posts. I understand you work with a majority of cubs fans and being a sox fan that must be difficult, but the difference in being objective and biased is very clear on your part.
I've yet to see an objective post, and maybe that's why everyone is so quick to jump on you with your negativity.
The Cubs suck right now. I'm a DIE HARD cubs fan. Been that way all my life. But if you think that not showing up or watching the games plays ANY part in the development of a franchise, you are sadly mistaken.

We've had our differences, but I need to acknowledge that first part, and say that I have a lot of respect for you saying that.

Damn, I have been a Cubs die-hard for an awfully long time and I know I will not be at that park anymore this year ... I will not throw away my money or waste my time on a minor league team anymore .. I am done with them so I guess I agree with you mm ...
I did just purchase 15 tickets for 5 White Sox games .. Why?? Cause I love the game and want to watch a major league team ...

Enjoy the White Sox buddy! Maybe if more people did that, the Tribune company would then be forced to care!

I caught both posts...lol
It's all good.
I try to be as objective as I can be regarding the cubs, but sometimes its hard.
I'm moving on...I think your extreamly intellegent as a sports fan, and even though we disagree fundamentally on our passions, I think we both make good points.
