Went 2-1 yesterday winning the Padres as a dog and the under Dodgers/Rockies and losing the Red Soxs. Here is my afternoon bets so far:
Cardinals -1 runline (-128) - It's Lima time!! During spring training he was 0-1 with a 8.59 era. He started the year in AAA Norfork where he was 2-3 with a 5.10 era. Mets are thin at pitching with their injuries that Lima had to be called up. In 2 starts Lima is 0-2 with a 9.31 era. Lifetime, Lima is 1-5 with a 6.52 era. Marquis hasn't been good this year going 4-4 with a 5.33 era, but pitched well in his last start going 7 innings and giving up only 1 run.
Mets/Cardinals over 10 (-130) - Betting this in case Marquis has a bad game against the Mets lineup that can hit decent. Lima along might give up 10 runs against the Cardinals, just saw that Pujols is not in the starting lineup. If I was him, I would be betting to hit against Lima!
