Under looks good so far in the Dodger/Rockies game, here are my evening bets:
Red Soxs (-121) - Red Soxs have won 13 straight against the Orioles and have outscored them 62-25 this year in 5 wins against Baltimore. Wakefield is 2-0 with a 2.25 era against Baltimore this year and Bedard got rocked in his start against Boston going 2 innings giving up 5 runs and 7 hits. Bedard is 0-2 with a 7.34 era last 4 starts and lifetime against Boston is 1-3 with a 7.57 era.
Padres (+130) - Padres have cooled off losing 2 in a row after winning 14 of 15. Mike Thompson makes his debut for the Padres and had decent numbers in AAA Portland going 5-0 with a 3.70 era in 8 starts with a 1.06 WHIP. Juan Cruz is a relief pitcher making his 4th start and is only pitching 5 innings. Yesterday Hernandez only went 2 innings so the Arizona bullpin is thin today and they will have to pitch at least 4 innings tonight.
