By far our worst night ever … and the 5-12 includes the 2 games which The Linesmaker handed to us. Needless to say I did not like what I saw last night.

I know I will take heat for asking this question, but it seems awfully hard to win when 99% of the plays are favorites. Even betting the high line plays like last night and going 3-2 with them leaves you a little behind with them. Please dont get too mad, just looking for some advice or some knowledge on how to get ahead.

We're sticking with high liners for now because they've been the bread and butter . Believe me this year has been the exception rather than the rule. We dont like having to hit 70% to eke out a small profit so you're definitely not wrong. High Liners make me uncomfortable.


Except for high line games a lot of the plays are dogs who are getting 1 run and become small faves in doing so. Or at least thats the way it's been working out so far.


Soon there should be a shifting out of the high liners and into star rated small dogs, small faves and reasonably priced +1 1/2 Run takes.

Last night was the worst in 2+ years.

Last year we lollygagged around until 2 weeks after the All Star Game then went on an unreal winning rampage right through The World Series. But by then most of the guys turned their attention to football while a ton of dough was being made.

I used to have a good feel as to when to back off for a while and when to double fist the games but this year it's been kinda tricky.

The best I can say is to be conservative because the games have been erratic to say the least.

Sooner or later we're going to go on a run ... the catch is to be here when it happens ... and it will.

Any opinion on the Reds -160 over the Pirates. Seems like a steal at that price after the Bucs exploded last night for 9 runs.

We have Cincinnati priced at -160 ... The line opened at -150 so there's no appreciable edge here.

I did read that Pittsburgh is 0-16 after a win by 6+ runs but now that it's been made public I'm not too impressed with that fact.
