Much was expected of New York this year, but that quickly changed after a dismal start… However, the Rangers have since rebounded to post a very respectable 12-12-4 overall record and a very good 15-13 against the spread mark… They have been playing excellent hockey as of late, posting a 6-2 against the spread mark in their last eight overall…
The Flyers came out of the gate red hot, but have cooled considerably… They are 11-6-6-1 overall, but only 11-13 against the spread… Their last twelve games have been absolutely horrible, going 2-10 against the spread… Philadelphia does have an injury problem, as their best player, John LeClair is out 10-12 weeks…
