Went 0-1 in MLB with 2 rainouts and lost my hockey bet as the Avs got swept. Here is what I have for today:
Brewers (-120) - Grabbed this line last night, this is a play more against Lima who somehow still has a job. During spring training he was 0-1 with a 8.59 era. He started the year in AAA Norfork where he was 2-3 with a 5.10 era. Mets are thin at pitching with their injuries that Lima had to be called up. His 1st start this year he goes 5 innings and gives up 5 runs.
over 9.5 (-120) Mets/Brewers - If the Mets do win, it means they would have scored a ton of runs to offset Lima. Over is 8-2 last 10 meeting between the 2. Lima could easily give up 10 runs on his own.
Padres (-124) - Padres are hot winning 11 of their last 12 and Cubs are ice cold losing 9 of their last 10 games. Williams is 3-1 with a 3.12 era and Guzman is 0-2 with a 7.20 era. Am I missing something here? Padres won all 4 games against the Cubs at home last week.
D-Backs (+150) - Cruz has pitched good in his 2 starts and he is 1-0 with a .90 era in those starts. Mulder hasn't pitched great lately going 1-1 with a 5.30 last 3 starts. D-Backs are in 2nd place and have won 8 of their last 10 games.
