Went 2-1 yesterday in MLB, here are my bets for today:
D-Backs (-130) 2 unit bet - Love this game as Juan Cruz has done well as a starter going 2-0 with a .90 era in 2 starts. Perez has been horrible this year going 1-5 with a 7.71 era. He is also 1-4 with a 6.15 era lifetime vs the D-Backs. In 32.2 innings pitched he has given up 42 hits, 33 runs, 9 homers, 27 walks with 26 strikeouts. D-Backs have won 8 of their last 10 games. Look for the D-Backs to Cruz today at Pittsburgh!
Dodgers (-135) - Going with the hot team and pitcher and fading the cold team. Derek Lowe has pitch good this year going 1-1 with a 3.05 era and last 3 starts has a 1.33 era. Rodriguez got hit hard his last start and I see him coming back after a hot start.
Tigers (-112) - Ace Kenny Rogers has helped Detroit off to a great start going 5-2 with a 3.28 era. After a 4-2 start for Bedard, he has cooled off and is 0-2 with a 7.90 era last 3 starts. Baltimore has lost 8 of their last 10 games and Detroit is 13-7 on the road this year.
