My thinking is that you took CWS +5.5 after the 5th inning. They had +5.5 assuming that LAA would be leading 6-0 after 5 innings. They have to put it up in the top of the fifth to give people time to wager on it. It is my understanding that since CWS scored 3 in the bottom of the 5th that then the +5.5 line that they set was off.

Does this sound good? This is they way I understand it.

You're right that's how it works, CEC got lucky the Sox scored runs in the bottom of the 5th for it to get cancelled. Because even w/o the 6 runs in the 9th his 2nd chance bet was losing at the time. There is one thing you missed though, the 2nd chance was offered AFTER the top of the 5th inning when it was already 6-0. Chuck, when you placed the bet the score was 6-0, right??? That's why the line was +5.5. It would not be available BEFORE or DURING the top of the 5th because a line of Angels -5.5 does not make sense if they are winning by only a score of 4-0??? After they scored the 2 runs in the top of the 5th, Pinny came out with the -5.5 line on the 6-0 score. That makes more sense.

I'm a little confused?....When and how should I have played it....When I played this, the score was 6-0....I thought if the game ended after the ninth, just say 6-5 or 6-1, withthe 5.5runs, I should win my bet...Explain please?:confused:
