Going to be around for some afternoon baseball tomorrow so I found a couple of Regular sized plays worth some of my coin!

StLouis Cardinals ML -165: If you remember when I posted about the Rockies "stealing" Game 1 of the series when they did, I meant that because I felt they would and then lose the rest. They almost won tonight as well but the better team prevailed as the Cards took over late. The Cards will score their runs off of Kim tomorrow afternoon and Suppan has been sharp giving up 4 earned runs in his last 3 starts and his 2-0 record at home is accompanied by a 1.42 ERA which are stunning numbers to start the season. The Rockies have not exactly been offensive machines lately and Suppan should continue to shut em down as the Cardinals roll to an easy victory.

SeattleMariners/TampaBayDrays UNDER 8 runs -110: I really love this pick. I played an over tonight in the Jays game but when playing totals, more often I will be on an under and this one is nearly as solid as the will come. To start, we have a Lefty-Lefty matchup which always favours a nice little under! The Drays are facing the high heat of Felix Hernandez tonight and tomorrow they will find their timing off as they face the offspeed and ever so crafty Jamie Moyer. He may not have the most dominant stuff but he finds a way to get people out and he will do it enough tomorrow afternoon to keep this low scoring. To add, Moyer has given up a MAXIMUM of 3 earned runs in a game this season which should fare well and shows some nice consistency. His counterpart, one of my favourites, Scott Kazmir who has sick stuff. When this guy is on, he is nearly untouchable, just ask the Bosox. Look at his starts this season, his first one he got rocked in his tuneup game, then he gives up 2 runs to the Jays, 2 to KC, 1 to the boSox, 3 to the Yanks, 1 to the boSox again and then 1 to the A's. Just 2 earned runs combined in his last 2 games and that will continue tomorrow in this low scoring game!!

Lets cash these 2-0 and I will update my record later after I see the Brew Crew final!

Good luck - I think that D'rays total is the best one on the board as well.

By the way, just out of curiosity because I don't need to do it if its not necessary, do the writeups help anyone who comes in here to check the picks or is it all the same to just see the pick with no writeup? I am just asking because if its not necessary I am happy to not do it and if people do use them for info or to comfort them into the pick, I am more then happy to continue! Just let me know guys cause I only want to help any way I can!

I enjoy the writeups, in fact that may be the only thing keeping me off the Rockies tomorrow.

definitely like your write-ups. This bet could be a little tricky. Larry Poncino will be the home plate ump and he has a 12 run average and is 5-2 on the overs. But, in the first 3 innings he averages 3 runs. So I may play the under for the first 5 innings...

Adding my two night plays now and will be out till much later. One is regular and since I am up a lot lately, the other is GOY size.

                            Regular:

Philadelphia Phillies ML +100: This team is hot as can be and the Mets have lost a couple in a row. The Phillies almost blew it yesterday only to hang on and win after blowing it in the late innings and they will win this tight game.

                            GOY:

Ottawa Senators ML -130: Yes, I know we had the Sabres for Game 2 and I mentioned I was going to ride them through but look at the first 2 games and how dominant Ottawa has been. They know 2 things, the franchise has never come back from down 0-2 and if they lose this game tonight, they are DONE because 0-3 the Sabres will not blow. The line is not too heavy considering its the Sens at -130 and they will continue to load up on the shots only tonight they will score enough for our victory!

GL and hang in there Cards!!
