Obviously nothing can be made of just one game, but lets compare tonight's game with the Suns game the other night:
In last 4:45 of Suns game with Suns leading by 30, 35 points scored to put the game over by 4 points with a ton of three pointers and no slow down.
Tonight with a little over 6 minutes to play, score was Miami 105 and NJ 81(total 187 1/2).
Final score: Miami 111 NJ 89 meaning 14 points were scored in the last 6 minutes.
Game slowed down as it was supposed to under such circumstances and no all out effort to keep scoring.
I point this out NOT to say that the extra "effort" the other night was done deliberately to try to put the game over the total but to show the contrast in the two games and to show where my thinking is coming from, and especially since tonight's scenario seemed at least to me the more normal way the last few minutes of a game play out when actual outcome has been determined.

      wow, get a life
where can i find the rule on the normal way to end a game if a team is up by more than 20?
      or by 10?
      how does this work?

Wow- try to get an understanding of the points I made and at least be open minded to the possibility that what happens in sports could at least sometimes be related to the pointspread.

no cuz i am not going to turn into a paranoid person like you and every time vegas is close to the total and the game comes down to a possession or two i am not going to question if someone fixed the game..

No one said EVERY time, and in the long run, it won't affect you or me anyways as the shennanigans even out anyways.
Just watch some NBA games carefully especially in the last few minutes when line or total can be decided, and I think you will see over time stuff from players at least sometimes which raises your eyebbrows, seems phony, out of character and just a little suspicious under the circumstances.
Believe me I don't spend my whole life thinking about it or the NBA or even gambling for that matter.
