Advice for betting Derby
I posted thios in the Horse and Dog section, but for those that plan to bet the Derby and never go there I am posting it here also.
If you plan to play Exotics (exacta, trifecta Superfecta) DON'T Play them at offshore accounts. You'll get cheated out of money.
All off shore books are not part of the paramutual pools so they set limits on the amounts you can win usually 200-1 max.
Even if Brother Derek wins at 3-1 the payouts will be over that 200-1 even the exacta might.
When Smarty Jopes won the Derby at 7-2 the trifecta paid over $1,000 so if you bet onnline you will only get $200
Remember it's 200-1. If you do a 4 horse trifecta box (costs $24) and if hits you will only get $200-1 on the winning combo NOT the $24 you spent.
