Went 1-2 last night losing on the White Soxs and Mariners in baseball and winning Carolina in hockey. Here are my bets for tonight and the lines I got:
Cubs (-115) - Maddux has been great this year going 5-0 with a 1.35 ERA. Getting decent odds tonight since lifetime Maddux is 1-8 with a 4.97 era vs Arizona. However, Batista is 2-1 with a 6.33 era this year and lifetime vs Cubs he is 1-2 with a 7.14 era.
Over 9.5 (-120) Royals/Twins - Great pitching matchup here as Radke and his 8.89 era goes up against Joe Mays and his 11.07 era. Last starts Radke went 2.1 innings and gave up 6 runs and Mays pitched 3.1 innings giving up 5 runs.
Blue Jays (+102) - Halladay has won 4 straight against the Red Soxs. Blue Jays are 15-9 against the Red Soxs since 2005 and are the only AL team with a winning record against Boston during this time. Halladay pitched 5.1 innings last game vs NY and gave up no runs.
NBA:
Detroit (-12 -105) - Milwaukee had a chance in game 4 leading in the 4th quarter and ended up losing by 10. I see a similar result as the Dallas/Memphis game where Memphis lost a tough game before and got blown out in the elimination game. Detroit will start out fast and blow out the Bucks.
