Milwaukee shot 55% from floor in Game 4, led by hoop at home after three quarters, but lost 109-99, as Pistons turned 18 Bucks' turnovers into 33 points. Redd scored 73 points in last two tilts, but Bucks need road win in arena where they shot 35.6%, 43.5% in first two games (they shot 60%,55% at home). Pistons took 78 foul shots in two games at Milwaukee, Bucks took 50.

Cleveland had 23 turnovers in Game 4, as Wizards came back in second half from 57-46 halftime deficit and evened series. In the series, Wizard free throw attempts have been 36-29-33-40; they take ball to basket well, and are +35 in FTAs in series. In their two losses, Wizards are 5-35 from arc; in wins, they're 16-40, so Cavaliers need to lock down the perimeter, since Wiz has been getting to basket no matter what, anyway. .

      Wednesday's NHL playoff games

Calgary was held scoreless for last 49+ minutes of Game 6, after they scored first goal; they've won Games 1,3,5- five of six tilts in series have been decided by one goal. Very even series has Anaheim 6-42 on power play, Calgary 6-39. Anaheim has only a single first period goal in last four games, but they've outscored Calgary 3-0 in third stanza last two games. Overtime in Game 7?

-- Huge decision by NBA brass as fas ar whether or not the league suspends Raja Bell after his flagrant foul in Game 5. Very tough for Suns to win without Bell in Staples Center; NBA has to consider how Suns got hosed in Game 4 loss at Staples. I say they let Bell play in Game 6.
-- St Louis Rams' coach Scott Linehan is brother-in-law of actor Jim Caviezel.
-- #125 on PGA money list is Harrison Frazar, with $218,482; #126 is Corey Pavin, with $216,049. 26 players have already earned $1,000,000+ this season.
-- So far this season, average half-inning of a major league baseball game has 16.5 pitches in it.
-- Through Monday, the umpire who has had least number of baserunners in games where he has worked the plate is Charlie Reliford (0.97 WHIP); ones with most baserunners are Poncino (1.74) and Cousins (1.73).

Wednesday's List of 13: Nobody asked me, but..............
          13) Reebok received 15,000 orders for Reggie Bush jerseys in first 48 hours after draft; hopefully, NFL will let Bush wear #5 and get rid of stupid restrictions on what numbers players are allowed to wear.

          12) When Tim Hudson threw one-hitter at Colorado Monday, he was second pitcher in last ten years to do so, while letting opposing pitcher get the only hit. Both one-hitters came at the expense of the Rockies.

          11) Rams signed Denzel Washington's son as free agent RB; yopung Washington is all-time leading rusher at Morehouse College. Shouldn't he have signed with the Titans?

          10) Are Nationals, Marlins worst teams to ever be in the same division? Florida might actually be worse than the Royals.

          9) NC State should just hire Rob Evans as basketball coach, and pretend they traded Herb Sendek to Arizona St for him. It would be a bad trade, but it would be infinitely better than the embarrassment that is going on in Raleigh these days.

          8) Andy Kennedy is doing very well recruiting for Ole Miss; if he can land Devan Downey as a transfer for '07-'08, he'll be on fast track to getting Rebels in NCAA's soon thereafter.

          7) NFL teams can supply their own footballs this season, an underrated new rule that will increase scoring, as QB's will be able to break in balls they use in games. Phil Simms, for one, always complained that footballs were too slick in games.

          6) Weird brawl in A's-Angels game Tuesday, when Kendall charged mound after Lackey yelled at him from mound, with bases loaded and one out in sixth inning. Lackey's first pitch was seemingly-harmless curveball that missed inside, but was not menacing. No idea what Lackey yelled in at Kendall.

          5) Astros' Jim Hickey must be underrated pitching coach; he has Houston's young starting pitchers doing terrific job this season. With Clemens gone and Backe hurt, who thought the Astros would still have strong starting pitching?

          4) I am tired of the whole Roger Clemens fiasco; it is sad day when guy waits until July 4 to see what contender he wants to play for. If he wants to wait that long, let him go pitch for the Pirates or Nationals.

          3) Shane Keough is hitting .309 for 47-9 Yavapai College, with 41 strikeouts in 194 AB's. Young Keough, son of former A's pitcher Matt Keough, has been featured on Real Housewives of Orange County on the Bravo Network.

Speaking of the A's, they prefer patient hitters, so they can't be real happy with Jay Payton's zero walks in 73 PA's.

          2) Bill Mueller of Dodgers is only player in MLB history to hit two grand slams in same game, one from each side of plate.

Fernando Tatis is only player to hit pair of grand slams in one inning- our friend JKJ11 was at Dodger Stadium that night.

          1) Game 7 in Calgary Wednesday; Anaheim at Flames. There is little in sports as dramatic as a Game 7 in the NHL.
